The Seal Genie™ is the ONLY multi-patented hose washer in the world.
With a perfect combination of materials, form and function it outlasts and outperforms all competition. Made of FDA approved drinking water safe silicone, it works in temperatures of -65 below to 400 degrees above zero and your garden hose would fail long before the Seal Genie™ does. The multi-patented design allows the Seal Genie™ to expand into the threads of a connection, with multiple mini compartments forming tight seals against the threads. The compressibility of the silicone is superior to EPDM, natural rubber, vinyl and many, many other materials. All of this and more make the Seal Genie™ the very best garden hose washer on the entire planet, bar none.

You can use the Seal Genie™ in most any connection that uses GHT (Garden Hose Thread) connections. Hot/Cold water connections on a washing machine hookup, accessories that connect to a garden hose, pressure washer connections that use GHT, RV’s, Boat/Marine hose connections, plumbing, food service, Fire Fighter hoses - the list is extremely long, but you should get the idea by now.

Because of the advanced design and materials used, there is no need to over-tighten connections nor use tools (such as pliers) to tighten connections. Once you start to tighten a connection with a Seal Genie, you should feel some resistance beginning as the connection is tightened. Turn another half to full turn by hand and that should be sufficient, you DO NOT need to over tighten. It has been reported that these are even easy enough for those with weak hands (or arthritis) to use without the assistance or need for tools!

Correct. The Seal Genie™ is designed and made so well that it should provide you with years of excellent service, something no other garden hose washer can claim. Under normal use and conditions expected with GHT connections, we warrant the Seal Genie™ to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship for as long as you own it. Some exclusions may apply, please see the warranty page for more detailed information.

The Seal Genie™ was purposely designed to be scalable, meaning a myriad of sizes are possible. It can be made in varying sizes from a tiny medical seal up to (but not limited) to a 2 foot water main seal. For instance, it will be available in several sizes to fit Fire Fighter hose connections, as well as DOD/Navy/Maritime connection sizes. Don’t see the size/application you need?
